6 years of on-line Sprite community+
Since 2003, when the first Sprite e-presence was launched, Hambar 18 created the Romanian Teens' Manifesto and still develops it. From the interactive experience of flash technology to the strong community of Spunepebune.ro users, Sprite had its powerfull voice within the target audience. Two years from the first appearence Spune pe bune became an aspirational phenomenon, with its fabulous stories behind the brand. For six years now Hambar 18 also managed for Sprite the on-line strategies, activations and campaigns.

Serving mainstream media+
Two major media players such us Ringier Romania and The National Television Station choosed Hambar 18 to design their e-presence in 2006 and 2007. For evz.ro Hambar 18 also created the on-line advertising launching campaign and offered the tehnical maintenance. For tvr.ro Hambar 18 created the visual concept and layout design according to the brand ID values and guidelines. Later on, the website has been nominated in the on-line user-voting contest targeting the Eurovision consumer community all over Europe. Another dear customer in the media field is hotnews.ro to whom blogs section Hambar 18 designed in 2007 the key visuals. Also, the Media Pro networks and Realitatea Media Group appointed Hambar 18 for consultancy in the developing their e-presence and e-marketing policies.

Corporate on-line playgrounds and parties+
Hambar 18 developped a bamboocha game along with coordinating the on-line activation at the launching of Fanta Mango, in 2006. Together with Neogen Hambar 18 also organized a virtual party when Fanta Pink was launched at the beginning of 2007. Another interactive project was launched in the same year at cokefood.ro, the support website for the Coca-Cola maintrust campaign. The Company also created and administrated virtual forums to support the two components behind the Coca-Cola brand, music and football.

Hambar 18 created rich media and integrated campaigns for a long list of customers, as The Ministry of Tourism, Romanian Advertising Agencies Association, the European Judo Federation, Coca-Cola Romania, Dacia Renault, Neogen, Ringier Romania, Beiersdorf Romania.

The first virtual plant in Romania+
Hambar 18 created the very first Romanian virtual plant for Dacia Renault in 2005. The whole visit integrated the Logan's advertising concept being created as an interactive game which gave the user a comprehensive picture over the whole fabrication process. Dacia Renault decided to launch the project in a professional environement, at SIAB 2005. Hambar 18 created the website of the event with a outstanding 3D motion graphic prezentation of the corporate booth where Logan Diesel was launched.

burn.ro, the on-line gazette and TVCs for MTV+
The Coca-Cola Company appointed Hambar 18 to create the clubbers' community and go on-line with the burn energy drink. The strategy proposed by Hambar 18 has turned the project into a succes story. With a permanent correspondent from Ibiza and exclusive stories from the most appreciated DJs, between 2002 and 2005 burn.ro was one of the hottest on-line destination for clubbers. In 2003 the Company created and produced an integrated TV campaign, aired on the Romanian MTV channel.

Concepts and packages: Branding and rebranding+
In 2004 British American Tobacco choosed Hambar 18 to develop an on-line concept and strategy for KENT e-presence as a core communication tool that would enhance the consumer dialogue. Hambar 18 developed branding/rebranding strategies along with advertising campaigns and corporate websites for several customers as in 2005 BIT Software, a major player in the software industry, the tourism tour operator 4U Travel or Stericare Romania. The strategies became concrete through full service above-the-line package, from stationaries to TVCs.

Professional trainings: Communication & Sales+
In cooperation with its Canadian partner KnowledgeSwap, Hambar 18 initiated corporate communication trainings for customers such as Coca-Cola Romania, Mercury Research, Mercury Promotions (currently rebranded as Mercury360) in 2003. Also, Hambar 18 trained the sales teams of the Realitatea Media Group in 2006.

Hambar 18 goes Mediterranean: Odyssey 2001+
Hambar 18 was appointed by the Mediterranean Theatre Institute and The Bucharest Bulandra Theatre to develop the visual video scheme of Catalina Buzoianu's unique performance: the 2001 Odyssey. This venture into the theater world took a 4 people crew of Hambar 18 in a 3 months cruise in 12 Mediterranean countries, in a quest for integration of Greek tragedy and hi tech. Hambar 18 used this amazing opportunity to develop a state of the art concept of integrating theater and web presence.

First webcasts of major sports events+
Hambar 18 created several pioneering websites that covered and webcasted major judo competitions, such as the 2000 Europe Cup of Cadets and the 2002 Judo World Masters tournament (with $500.000 in prizes), as well as the European Championship in 2004. Hambar 18 also founded the judo.tv network, based on a web 2.0 concept. A webcast for the first Romanian Edition of the Special Olympics Games, a temporary website and a powerful and advertising campaign was the e-presence kit Hambar 18 delivered to the organizers of this event. The event was endorsed by legendary athletes like Gabi Szabo and Nadia Comaneci.

Online Audit premiere in Eastern Europe+
The Hungarian National Authority for Press Audit was the first East-European audit body to deploy, in 2000, a solution to evaluate the ups and downs of the electronic medias in the country. Hambar 18 contributed to this event with assistance in the technical setup of the web audit infrastructure and created the website of the Hungarian company, www.matesz.hu.

TV, Music and film: the show is online+
Among the first efforts to bring the Romanian entertainment closer to the Internet audience, Hambar 18 partnered with Atomic TV for web only live concerts such as the 23 August 2000 marathon show that included 32 top Romanian music bands. Also, webcasts helped launching campaigns such as cinemagia.ro website launch in 2001 and the 102 Dalmatians movie launch for Hollywood Film and Music. Hambar 18 also launched on-line the rebranded Prima TV with a dedicated corporate website in 2001.

Popularity meter experiments: "Best of" e-prizes+
Hambar 18 explored the idea of popularity across several industries, such as IT, tourism and advertising. Thus, during industry fairs, such as CERF, IFABO, RITS and the advertising festival AD'OR Hambar 18 organized polling sites that transformed into prizes the votes of the Internet users. These experiments, held between 1999 and 2004, were pioneering endeavours to
explore and certify the importance and relevance of the Internet users role. Public figures who kindly endorsed the Hambar 18 efforts ranged from politicians such as the President of Romania who sent the Hambar 18 CERF e-prizes via email from his very office, to media players such as Andrei Gheorghe, that went on stage at AD'OR to announce these prizes.

The first integrated e-Brand campaign for Romania+
Hambar 18 was the web agency that built the official tourist site of Romania, romaniatravel.com. The advertising campaign, aired on CNN, Euronews and the Discovery Channel, targeted an international audience that was directed towards the site and its special on-line events produced by Hambar 18 in 2000, from webcasts of religious feasts to international on-line press conferences held over the Internet by government officials.

Live Y2k webcast marks an East European web audience record+
First webcast event in Eastern Europe that went beyond the 120.000 viewer minutes was hailed by leading broadcast sites like streamingmedia.com and y2kwebcast.com. Hambar 18 had 10 TV stations from Romania, Hungary and Moldavia encoded and webcasted in Real Video live during the New Year 2000, known as the Y2k weekend. This was the first event to integrate content across a few countries in the region, and a local distribution record with over 25.000 successfully served streams.

Streaming the dark: the 1999 solar eclypse+
The total sun eclipse live web event was the first audience record in Hambar 18 portfolio: during the eclipse, the streaming was viewed by 400 simultaneous viewers (the limit of the licensed software server used for the event, Real Video), an... astronomical figure back in those days.

The first public Romanian streaming event+
First seen on the Internet: 1998 brought several streaming experiments that culminated with a PRO TV event, webcasted live over the Internet. The event was available first to the on-line audience and only then, a few hours later, featured in the the ProTV News.

A landmark on the Romanian Internet: www.top100.ro+
1997 marks the launch of the Romanian Top 100 directory, that contains links to a registered community of over 30000 websites, a representative selection for the Romanian digital presence, as well as a hierarchy based on the popularity of these websites among their users. The site, that will be revamped in 2008, has up to 40.000 visits per day.

Hambar 18 came up, via Netsoft.ro, with a political polling website covering the elections of the Romanian president in 1996, a first in the political media landscape.

Founded in 1996 as a new media research and development group and using the expertise and technical resources of some friends in the IT industry, such as Netsoft.ro, Agora.ro, Ines.ro and Ituner.com, Hambar 18 performed studies and experiments in digitizing media, radio and television signals that paved the way to the most spectacular streaming events in Romania.
